Single Points of Failure in Emergency Comms

Modern emergency response relies entirely on centralized systems: cellular towers (4G/5G), fiber optic backbones, and cloud-based routing. During major natural disasters (earthquakes, extreme floods) or kinetic threats, these networks collapse within hours due to power grid failure or physical destruction.

European first responders and defence units require a resilient layer of connectivity that does not rely on foreign infrastructure providers or vulnerable centralized servers. They need an agile network that can be deployed from the trunk of a vehicle in minutes.

The Vulnerability Gap

Traditional tactical radios (TETRA/VHF) are highly reliable but lack the bandwidth and packet-switching capabilities for modern routing, encrypted chat, and map sharing. Commercial IoT systems, conversely, rely entirely on internet gateways. Resilan bridges this gap: a sovereign, off-grid mesh network capable of routing complex data across any surviving radio frequency.

We engineer a complete, hardware-agnostic data transport ecosystem. Our architecture is divided into three highly resilient layers, utilizing state-of-the-art cryptographic primitives and certified mil-spec enclosures.

Layer 1: Rugged Hardware Bridges

Our nodes are housed in certified Protector Cases compliant with IP67, STANAG, and MIL-STD-810G standards. These multi-radio nodes can transmit via Wi-Fi HaLow, ultra-long-range LoRa (868MHz EU), or standard Ethernet. The protocol dynamically adapts MTU and bandwidth allocation to whatever hardware is available.

Layer 2: Cryptographic Routing

Powered by Reticulum. We eliminate IP addresses. Every node generates a sovereign cryptographic identity. Key exchanges utilize X25519 ECDH, while signatures rely on Ed25519. Payload is secured with AES-256 equivalent symmetric encryption. The network auto-discovers routes and heals itself autonomously.

Layer 3: Edge AI & Interoperability

Nodes integrate NPUs to execute 100% offline Sovereign Edge AI. The AI performs autonomous Spectral Mapping (Radio Terrain Map) and Semantic Triage, guaranteeing bandwidth priority for life-saving alerts (e.g., MEDEVAC) during severe EW jamming. The ecosystem ensures total interoperability: CoT data transport for ATAK, NATO standards (STANAG 4677, NFFI), Sovereign P2P Tunnels for legacy apps, and a Tactical Topology Dashboard for real-time C2 visualization.

Mid-tier ruggedization designed for ATVs and first-responder vehicle mounting. Features watertight panel-mount external connectors (Neutrik/Amphenol) allowing operators to attach high-gain antennas and power scavenging cables without opening the case in heavy rain.

Charlie "Command" Relay

The ultimate base station. Housed in indestructible MIL-SPEC transport cases with integrated active cooling. Designed to support massive internal battery buffers and manage high-throughput routing for tethered drone payloads and command centers.

Energy Scavenging & Hot-Swap

Just as our protocol is agnostic to radio hardware, our Rescue Kits are agnostic to power sources. We engineered a power management architecture that guarantees uninterrupted operation even in the harshest post-disaster scenarios where standard power grids are destroyed.

LiFePO4 Internal Buffer

Built with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry. Zero thermal-runaway risk under extreme heat or kinetic impact, delivering up to 5,000 cycles. The internal buffer keeps the node alive, acting as a failsafe during external power source transitions.

Universal Energy Scavenging

Integrated wide-input DC-DC MPPT controllers allow operators to scavenge power from any surviving source: 12V/24V abandoned vehicle batteries, foldable solar arrays, or unstable field generators. The node adapts automatically without burning out.

Hot-Swap Tactical Adapters

Never power down the network. Attach commercial power-tool batteries (e.g., Makita, DeWalt 18V) or NATO standard BB-2590/U packs on the fly. The internal buffer ensures zero packet loss and 100% uptime during the battery swap.
